Reception
This module is the gateway of HIS. It initiates all the activities of a patient, like pre-registration or registration, scheduling physicians timings, multiple and cross consultation and exhaustive query system for patient information. It also synchronizes allotment of beds, wards on a priority basis.
Patient Care
All the needs of a patient with respect to his treatment, services and requirements are automated through this module. It also involves daily progress cards, linking of doctors and nurses to the wards and consolidation of information regarding patients
Medical Records/ The Records Room
A ready-reckoner of clinical data of patients in PDF format is the essence of this module. It permits easy retrieval of medical records in concise form. Reports can be generated on a variety of data base relating to age, sex duration of stay, ICD and CFT.
Pharmacy
This module handles the efficient purchase, storage and judicious distribution of products from the central stores to various sales outlets. The remarkable features are industry standard bar-coding, receipt, notification for finance department and products classification under manufacturer, generic name and chemical composition.
Operation Theatre
This module allows the optimal allocation of resources as the theatre, surgeons, para medical
staffs, equipments and other consumables.
Blood Bank
Tracks donors, specimens and maintains the inventory of the various blood groups currently available in the bank. All statutory reports are generated.
Laboratory
This a Combination of service departments like laboratory, radiology and blood bank, which helps in the maintenance of requests by the patient for various medical investigations. This also includes third party services and scheduling according to priority.
Stores
The central stores module allows total control over the medicines, consumables and the assets of the organization. The module allows vendor analysis, purchase order requisitions and various consumption related reporting to ensure that optimum availability of all essential items are maintained.
Insurance.
Allows to configure the various health insurance schemes within the
organization as
well as that of third party agencies. Works in conjunction with the patient care and reception modules.
Billing
This module handles the billing activities. It includes deposit register, maintain accounts for billing types such as cash, cheque, account, credit card. It also involves different kinds of patients, credit party billing and the charges for various other services and tests.
Finance and Accounts
This module is the core of the HIS; providing vital information of all aspects of money transactions and payments. It covers the different articles of payment like cheques, vouchers, cash and also generates online reports of outstanding payments, account balances for all modules and budgeting analysis.
Personnel
The personnel module relates to all aspects related to the generation and maintenance of employees bio-data, leave/ absenteeism pay grade and classes.
Communication
The communication module enables the patients, physicians and other personnel to get direct access to local, national and international telephone calls. The privileges include known number calls, extension and interaction with standard telephone exchanges.
Messaging
This module provides the function of carriers of messages, internal documents and test results irrespective of the physical and geographical location of the doctor or personnel.
mH.I.S - mobile interface
This module deals with the integration and synchronization of patients information into the palm-held digital devices of the physicians. The doctors can actually prescribe and paramedical staff can report activities through mobile devices.
eH.I.S - Web module
This module allows patients to interact with doctors via the internet for appointments, reservation and queries. Conversely, the doctors can schedule their routine with the organization and its personnel through accounts, ID's and logins.
Management Information System
It is a storehouse of instantly retrievable informational database comprising of physicians, products and vendors. It helps in decision making with up to ten years of reference data.
Knowledge Management
This module deals with the use and re-use of collective knowledge of the organization, physicians, para medics, administrative personnel etc. It is also linked with the module on medical records.
System Administration
